GIRLS ON THE RUN
The Whitefield Elementary School Girls on the Run team participated in the 2023 Spring Girls on the Run 5K event in Concord, NH on Saturday, June 3rd.


On Tuesday, June 6 several middle school track and field athletes traveled to Manchester Memorial High School for the NH Middle School Meet of Champions.
WES athletes Isabelle Antonucci and Max Colby joined Olivia Lorenz, Mackie Foss, Maren Riff, Victoria Hertel, and Emalie McVetty from LES to represent the White Mountains Regional Middle School team. The Spartans were among an elite field of athletes representing 72 middle schools across the state.
Leaving the meet with medals and ribbons were 8th graders Olivia Lorenz and Max Colby. Olivia placed 4th in the 100 meter dash and 2nd in the 400 meter dash.
Max placed 1st in the shot put and was crowned the NH Middle School Champion with a throw of 43'5". Congratulations Olivia and WES's own STATE CHAMPION - Max Colby!!


REMINDER | Middle School Sports Awards
The White Mountains Regional Middle School Sports Awards will be held on June 12th at 5:30 pm in the high school auditorium.


WES at the Cog Railway and the Mt Washington Weather Observatory. Our 6th, 7th and 8th graders got to experience some of NH's finest sights this past week. A ride up the Cog Railway, behind scene tours of the Mt Washington Weather Observatory and of course the summit of Mt Washington! The learned of the challenges of tracking weather in such a harsh environment and experienced 35 mph winds. They went on different days ... can you tell?!








POP UP BAKE SALE | Monday, June 5th
So many treats were left from the Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday that we are sharing the sweet goodness with our entire school. All treats are $1 or less and proceeds will go the St Onge family.
