A Message From Mr. Cronin
Today we began the second quarter of the school year. First quarter report cards will be available this Friday the 12th. Grades K through four will receive their reports via email while grades five through eight will be available to you via PowerSchool.
Parent Teacher conferences will continue through December 3rd. If you haven’t set up an appointment with your child’s teacher, please do so this week.
Don’t forget that we have no school on Thursday in observance of Veterans Day, but we are back in session on Friday.
The weather has definitely turned colder and we’ve seen the first snowflakes fly. Remember that we go out for recess daily so you’ll want to be sure that your child has a warm coat, hat and mittens; and an extra mask or two helps.
We are collecting food donations for Project Homebound this week and sign up for Toys for Tots is ongoing. Please see your email from last week with Toys for Tots information.
Our lost and found rack is growing by the day. If your child has lost a sweatshirt, hat, mittens, shoe or lunch bag, please let us know and we’ll take a look.
Lastly, a reminder that school begins at 7:45 am sharp. Students should arrive with enough time to make their way from the entrance to their classroom by 7:45 am.
It was a busy first quarter and we appreciate everything you’ve done to keep us moving forward in a safe and healthy way.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Now that there is an emergency use authorization for Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5-11 years, I’m getting a lot of questions about how and where to make an appointment. There are several options in acquiring the vaccine for your child.
You can go to the NH State website and follow the prompts. When you enter your zip code and select vaccine for a child ages 5-11, you will see a list of local pharmacies that are offering the vaccine and will be able to select an appointment time that works best for you. The link is here:
https://www.vaccines.nh.gov/?vaccinated
If your child is a patient of North Country Pediatrics at LRH, they will be hosting a vaccine clinic on the evening of November 10th. This clinic is not open to everyone, only to those children who are established patients at North Country Pediatrics. Call their office for an appointment at 603.444.7070.
The North Country Public Health Network is hosting a vaccine clinic at White Mountains Regional High School on November 13th from 10:00am - 2:00pm. They will be offering COVID-19 vaccines for children and adults. No appointments are required. Registration forms will be coming home with your child this week. If you are interested in participating in the clinic, fill out the forms and bring them with you on Saturday morning.
Vaccination is the most effective method we have to stop the spread of COVID-19. The CDC recommends everyone ages 5 and older get a COVID-19 vaccine to help protect against the disease. If you have questions about the safety of the vaccine, clinck on the following link:
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/recommendations/children-teens.html
Or reach out to your child’s pediatrician.
Thank you for all you have done to keep our schools safe,
Lisa Miller, RN, BSN
SAU #36 COVID-19 Coordinator

No School Reminder - Thursday, November 11th Veterans Day.
